GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Week 4 of the high school football season had some great games and great finishes, but arguably the best game was the Game Time Game of the Week.

For the third time in four weeks the game of the week was a thriller with Southern Door and Derik LeCaptain outlasting Kewaunee, 28-27, in a Marinette-Oconto Northern Lakes Packerland Conference-Large game.

The player of the game was Derik LeCaptain, who caught two TD passes, ran for one TD and picked off a pass for a score. He also intercepted a 2-point conversion near the end of the game to prevent Kewaunee from taking the lead.

With the win Southern Door extended its conference winning streak to 15 games and is tied with Peshtigo at 2-0 in the conference.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame continues its impressive play with just two starters returning from last year's team. The Tritons went on the road and beat Pulaski, 24-21, to stay tied atop the Fox River Classic Conference standings with Bay Port and Green Bay Southwest.

Also, Kiel ran its record to 4-0 with a 50-0 win over Roncalli. The Raiders have scored 99 points combined in their last two games and remain tied for first place in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference with Two Rivers and Sheboygan Falls.

Another impressive outing came from Xavier, which in Week 3 was handled by Menasha, 50-8. Xavier went on the road and beat Seymour, 25-21, bouncing back and staying one game back of Bay Conference co-leaders Menasha and West De Pere.

Team of the week: Southern Door. The Eagles sent a message to the MONLPC-Large with a good win at Kewaunee. Southern Door's defense forced four turnovers and the offense took advantage.
