GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Three players from Notre Dame were selected in the USHL entry draft on Tuesday, including Sawyer Scholl, who was picked by the Green Bay Gamblers.
Scholl was an 11th-round pick (162 overall), while Jacob Conrad was a 15th-round pick (219th overall). They helped lead Notre Dame to the Division 1 state title this past March.
Furthermore, Daniel Laatsch was a first-round pick (seventh overall). Laatsch, who last played for Notre Dame his sophomore season (2017-18), played for the U.S. Under-18 Team this past season and has signed a national letter of intent to play at Wisconsin, beginning this fall.
Also, Quinn Finley, who played for the Green Bay Junior Gamblers last season and was the MVP of the Bantam Elite League last August for Team Wisconsin, was the top pick in the draft by the Madison Capitols.
