State football championship game breakdown

GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- The state football championships are Thursday and Friday at Camp Randall Stadium and Northeast Wisconsin is represented by four teams -- Bay Port, Menasha, Kiel and St,. Mary's Springs.

Bay Port and Kiel are aiming for their first state title, while Menasha is going for No. 2 and Springs is going for title No. 9 in the WIAA.

Here's quick breakdown of each of the games featuring a local team:

DIVISION 1

Bay Port (13-0) vs. Muskego (13-0): The Pirates are making their first trip to the state championship and face the 2018 state champ ... The Pirates are averaging 51 points per game and allow 8.4 points per game ... Muskego averages 36.3 ppg. and allows 7.5 ppg ... Muskego has 4,163 rushing yards and Bay Port has 4,036 ... Muskego averages 38 passing yards per game and Bay Port averages 101 ... Bay Port's Isaiah Gash has 1,731 yards rushing and 30 TDs (and he missed the season's first two games due to injury), while Alex Current has 1,485 yards and 21 TDs (14 yards per carry) for Muskego. Kickoff: 4 p.m. Friday.

DIVISON 3

Menasha (12-1) vs. DeForest (13-0): This is Menasha's second trip to state as it won the Division 2 state title in 2014 ... Menasha's lone loss came at West De Pere, 56-42, but got revenge on the Phantoms in Level 3, beating them 24-14. ... Tyler Roehl leads Menasha in rushing with 1,621 yards and 17 TDs, while DeForest is led by Gabe Finely's 1,333 yards and 16 TDs ... Menasha QB Cole Popp has run for 13 TDs and passed for 13 TDs ... Menasha is averaging 34.5 points per game and allowing 15.8 ppg .. DeForest is averaging 42.4 ppg. and is allowing 6.5 ppg. Kickoff: 10 a.m. Friday.

DIVISION 4

Kiel (13-0) vs. Catholic Memorial (11-2): Kiel is making its first trip to state and will play defending Division 3 state champ Catholic Memorial, which dropped down one division this postseason ... Kiel RB Alexander Kleinhahns has rushed for 1,119 yards and eight TDs ... Raiders QB Mitchell Mahler+ has thrown for 1,075 yards and 15 TDs and has rushed for 946 yards and 20 TDs ... Memorial QB Luke Fox has thrown for 2,205 yards and 26 TDs ... Kiel is averaging 37.5 ppg and allowing 8.3 ppg ... Memorial is averaging 36.6 ppg. and allowing 15.2 ppg. Kickoff: 7 p.m. Thursday.

DIVISION 6

St. Mary's Springs (11-2) vs. Regis (13-0): The Ledgers are making their ninth state finals appearance in the last 11 seasons and their 12th championship game appearance overall ... They have won eight state titles, including last year's Division 5 state title and the 2017 Division 6 state title ... Springs averages 34.9 ppg. and allows 7 ppg ... Regis averages 43.5 ppg. and allows 7.5 ppg ... Regis has 72 TDs, 60 via the ground ... Springs has 63 TDs this season, 54 on the ground. .. David Mueller leads Springs with 1,410 rushing yards and 17 TDs.

Div. 7 - Edgar (12-1) vs. Black Hawk/Warren, Ill. (13-0)- 10 a.m.

Div. 6 - Regis (13-0) vs. St. Mary’s Springs (11-2) - 1 p.m.

Div. 5 - Stratford (13-0) vs. Lake Country Lutheran (12-1) - 4 p.m.

Div. 4 - Kiel (13-0)vs. Catholic Memorial (11-2) - 7 p.m.
