MILWAUKEE (WLUK) -- Sophomore Emma Nagel scored two goals to lead Bay Port to a 2-1 win over Kettle Moraine on Thursday in a Division 1 girls state soccer semifinal at Uihlein Soccer Park.
No. 3-seeded Kettle Moraine netted a first-half goal and Nagel tied the match when she chested in a goal off a shot from McKenzie Johnson in the second half.
Nagel then gave the No. 2 Pirates the lead in overtime on a penalty kick that stood as the final goal.
Bay Port (23-1) outshot the Lasers 22-5 and had 13 shots on goal compared to one for Kettle Moraine.
Bay Port advances to Saturday's title game at 1:30 p.m. against Fox River Classic Conference foe No.1 Sheboygan North, which handed Bay Port its only loss of the season.
