FOX 11 Top 11: Tritons the new No. 1 in girls rankings

GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- There is a shakeup atop the FOX 11 Top 11 girl basketball rankings as Kimberly falls from No. 1 to No. 2 after suffering its first loss of the season to Neenah.

Taking over the top spot is Notre Dame, which has won 10 straight games. The Tritons' only loss of the season came to Kimberly on Dec. 5.

Meanwhile the rest of the top five is Freedom, Appleton East and De Pere.

Falling out of the Top 11 are Laconia and St. Mary's Springs and entering the rankings are Two Rivers and Neenah.

Here is this week's Top 11:

FOX 11 TOP 11

1. Notre Dame (12-1): Tritons allowed 33 points combined in two games last week. Last week: No. 2.

2. Kimberly (13-1): Makers fall one spot after losing to Neenah. Last week: No. 1.

3. Freedom (11-1): Sophomore Sadie Jarmolowicz adds scoring punch. Last week: No. 3.

4. Appleton East (10-2): LaChapell, Hansford and Beyer have combined for 81 threes. Last week: No. 4.

5. De Pere (12-1): Jordan Meulemans has scored at least 20 points in 10 games. Last week: No. 5.

6. Winnebago Lutheran Academy (10-0): Vikings get big Flyway win against St. Mary's Springs. Last week: No. 7.

7. Bonduel (12-0): Only one opponent has scored 50 points vs. Bears. Last week: No. 8.

8. Brillion (12-1): Lions suffer first loss to Roncalli. Last week: No. 6.

9. West De Pere (10-3): Phantoms keep rolling in the Bay Conference. Last week: No. 10.

10. Two Rivers (8-1): Two Rivers went 2-0 vs. Chilton last week. Last week: unranked.

11. Neenah (8-4): Rockets hand Kimberly its first loss of the season. Last week: unranked.

--Dropped out: 10. Laconia (10-3); No. 11. St. Mary's Springs (9-3).
