Bradshaw named new SMC boys basketball coach

NEENAH (WLUK) -- St. Mary Catholic has hired Paul Bradshaw as its new boys basketball coach.

Bradshaw was a standout basketball player at Clarkson University, New York, where he holds the school record for single season 3-point FG% at 55.6%. He has previously coached basketball at the high school level and most recently for youth basketball for the Xavier Youth Basketball Association.

Bradshaw is the owner of Ballhawk Basketball where he teaches basketball skill development for boys and girls in grades 3 - 12.

“We are excited to welcome Paul to our St. Mary Catholic Schools family”, St. Mary Catholic Schools athletic director Matt Schoultz said. “Paul will be an excellent leader for our Zephyrs boys basketball program. His experience playing collegiately, coaching at the high school level and extensive involvement with youth programs will help build a foundation for success at all levels. "

“I am extremely excited to become the head varsity boys basketball coach at St. Mary Catholic High School," Bradshaw said. "It is a tremendous opportunity and I feel like this is a great fit for me and for the St. Mary Catholic schools basketball program. I cannot wait to get to work."

The Zephyrs finished 7-16 overall last season and tied for fourth place in the Big East Conference - North Division with a 6-13 record.
