Baranczyk in sixth place in D1; Priebe tied for first in D2

VERONA (WLUK) -- Bay Port's Jo Baranczyk shot a 78 on Monday in the first round of the girls state championship golf meet at University Ridge Golf Course.

Baranczyk is tied for sixth place in the Division 1 field, seven shots behind Milton's Mia Seeman who shot a 71.

Team-wise, Kaukauna is in ninth place with a team score of 362, while Bay Port is in 10th at 365 and Green Bay Preble is 11th at 389.

State golf leaderboard

Arrowhead is in first at 312, 13 shots ahead of second-place Milton.

Meanwhile, in Division 2, Fox Valley Lutheran's Erika Priebe is tied for the first-round lead, as she is one of four players who shot 80.

Team-wise FVL is in third place with a team score of 374, 15 shots behind leader Aquinas, which totaled 359.
