Preview: Men's Phoenix Game Sun at 2p on CW 14

The Green Bay men's basketball team hosts Detroit on Sunday in the Phoenix's final home game of the season and a lot will be at stake for Green Bay.

The Phoenix is battling for a top-three spot in the conference but it won't be easy Sunday as the Titans (7-21, 5-11) edged Green Bay, 93-92, in the teams' first meeting of the season.

It will be the final home game for Turner Botz, Kenneth Lowe, Warren Jones, Jamar Hurdle, Charles Cooper and Tevin Findlay.

Green Bay (17-11, 11-5) is led in scoring by Cooper, who averages 13.2 points per game, while Kahlil Small averages 10.7 ppg. and Jones and Kerem Kanter each average 10.6 ppg., respectively.

Meanwhile, Detroit is led by Jaleel Hogan, who averages 17.5 ppg. and 7.3 rebounds per game. Also, Corey Allen averages 15.3 ppg. for the Titans.

Green Bay enters the game averaging a Horizon League-best 80.4 ppg., while Detroit is second-last in the conference, allowing 84.7 ppg.

Following Sunday's game will be the Horizon League tournament at Detroit, March 3-7.
