PESHTIGO (WLUK) -- 90,000 burgers were given away during a Milwaukee-based diner chain's 12 wins celebration.

Thanks to the Milwaukee Brewers' recent 12-game winning streak, George Webb Restaurants gave away free burgers to fans on Oct. 18.

While the final numbers are still being calculated, the restaurant reported it also gave away 100,000 free burger vouchers that can be redeemed until the end of the month.

George Webb says it went through 100 gallons of mustard, 200 gallons of ketchup, 250 gallons of pickles and 1,500 pounds of onions at its various locations throughout the state.

In Northeast Wisconsin's only George Webb location in Peshtigo, it gave away about 1,000 burgers halfway through its four-hour promotion.

The last time George Webb gave away free burgers was in 1987 when the Brewers won 13 games in a row.

The Brewers lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers Saturday in Game 7, losing out on a spot in the World Series against the Boston Red Sox.
