GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Kicking off the return of football in Titletown will be one of country music's top duos.
Big & Rich will perform a free concert for fans outside Lambeau Field on Saturday, Sept. 14, the day before the Green Bay Packers take on the Minnesota Vikings in the team's first regular season home game.
Big & Rich burst onto the country music scene in the early 2000's with their hit song, "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy." Since then, the two have released a number of radio-favorites, including, "Wild West Show," "Lost in this Moment" and "Holy Water."
Saturday's festivities will start at the Johnsonville Tailgate Village at 3 p.m. with live music starting at 5 p.m. near the Oneida Nation Gate. Food will also be available for purchase.
Concert-goers can park for free within the Lambeau Field lots and the Packers Pro Shop, Lambeau Field Stadium Tours, the Packers Hall of Fame and 1919 Kitchen & Tap will be open for regular hours.
Tailgating for Sunday's game can begin as early as 8 a.m. in the Lambeau Field parking lot with a kickoff set for noon.
Last year, classic rock, Steve Miller Band, performed a free concert during kickoff weekend.
