GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- A summer tradition in Northeast Wisconsin plans to return later this month, with some changes amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Bay Beach Amusement Park says it will have a "soft opening" June 20 and 21, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. The park will be limited to 500 people each day. Those wishing to visit will need to buy wristbands beforehand. More information is expected to be released on Friday.

The park will then be closed from June 22-25 so the COVID-19 preparedness plan can be adjusted. That plan is also expected to be released on Friday.

Two weeks ago, FOX 11 was first to report on Bay Beach's soft opening plan and how it intends to operate during the pandemic.

Bay Beach announced in April that its opening day would be delayed.
