Army's Jazz Ambassadors to perform free concert at Weidner Center

GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- The Jazz Ambassadors, the U.S. Army Field Band's official touring big band, is swinging into the Weidner Center in November.

The 19-member band's repretoire includes big band swing, bebop, Latin, contemporary jazz, standards, popular tunes, Dixieland, vocals and patriotic selections. Many are original compositions by Jazz Ambassadors members.

Seating for the Nov. 4 concert is general admission. Tickets are free, but required for admission. They can be ordered online; in person at the Ticket Star Box Office at the Resch Center or at the University Ticketing and Information Center located in the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay University Union; or by mail by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:
