WEST ALLIS (WLUK) -- The man who made Milwaukee's nickname of "The Good Land" famous is visiting the area this summer for the Wisconsin State Fair.
Shock rocker Alice Cooper is bringing his tour, A Paranormal Evening, to the fair's Main Stage Aug. 3.
Cooper, whose career stretches back more than 40 years, had a memorable appearance in the 1992 movie "Wayne's World," where he gave a short history of Milwaukee.
Tickets for the show are $35 and $45. They go on sale at 9 a.m. March 16 at the State Fair Ticket Office, by phone at 1-800-514-3849 and online. All Main Stage tickets purchased prior to entering the Fair Park include admission to the fair.
This year's State Fair runs from Aug. 2-12.
