(WCWF) GREEN BAY -- As social-distancing becomes the new norm, events have started up again- but with new safety guidelines. So here are five ways you can safely enjoy your weekend!
1. ART IN THE PARK 2020
De Pere's Art in the Park returns this weekend for the fifth year!
Free and open to the public, attendees can check out all the different media of artists and participate in the arts. For a full list of participating vendors, click here.
Different than previous years, the event will take place at Olde School Square in Ledgeview, Sunday June 28th from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
2. LOCAL ARTISTS SERIES
Also in De Pere this weekend, support Birder on Broadway as they continue their Local Artists Series!
Music and entertainment bring a light into dark times, and your ticket donation of suggested $30, is tax deductible and will help the theatre keep up financially until they can fully reopen their doors.
This weekend’s shows features “Parker Drew”, beginning at 7:30.

3. UNDERWATER EXHIBIT AT THE ART GARAGE
Meanwhile, slow and steady- many art galleries continue to open their doors with adjusted hours!
Now open Thursday, Friday and Saturdays the Art Garage has a brand new exhibit currently on view, focusing on earth’s vital life source water!
The “Under Water” exhibit features artist’s work in all media forms inspired by any aspect of water.
An artist reception takes place every Friday but if you’re still not ready to get out, that’s okay! You can donate, purchase and view the gallery from the comfort of your home- with a virtual tour!
“Underwater” will be on view through Sunday, July 26th.

4. SHAWANO SPEEDWAY
Ready, set, go! The Shawano Speedway is open with weekly races!
And even more special, this Saturday is Hall of Fame night! Multiple teams will race in tribute to 2020 Hall of Fame inductees, Mark Mitchell and Bob Maas.
The night of action begins at 4 p.m.
5. ANTIQUE UP FLEA MARKET
Looking to shop local for that rustic feel? Well you’re in luck! Kimberly’s Antique Up is hosting a flea market.
