1. Frenzy on the Fox
Take to the Fox River Trail this Friday, January 10th to enjoy a winter activity! Starting and ending on the Green Bay CityDeck, you can choose your distance and method- whether it be biking, running or walking- everyone is welcome! The event kicks off at 6:30 with a staggered start for all participants. There will be a before/after party that begins at 5:30 at Hagemesiter Park. For more information and registration, click here!
2. Mosaic Arts Bookfair
Head to the Green Bay Barnes & Noble this Saturday to support art and culture of the greater Green Bay area! 10% off proceeds while using the bookfair voucher at checkout (online or in-store) will go towards Mosaic so they may continue their efforts to advance arts in the area. The vouchers can be picked up from their booth from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on-site. There will also be art projects for the kiddos to enjoy! 3. Washington Park Winter Festival
With all the snow coming in this weekend, what a better time to celebrate winter with the Washington Winter Park Festival in Neenah! This Saturday from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m., you can enjoy winter activities including ice skating, sledding, hockey games and contests, and give-a-ways. There will also be snacks like hot dogs, s'mores and of course- hot chocolate! This family event is free and open to the public. For more information, click here!
4. Celebration of Hmong Culture, Manitowoc
The Rahr-West Art Museum in Manitowoc is celebrating Hmong culture with local talent! This free event will include traditional Hmong singing and dancing. This event is in conjunction with the museum's Hmong textiles exhibit, with artwork and artifacts of their culture, while illustrating their American experience. The celebration will take place on-site on Saturday, January 11th from 1- 2p.m. For more information, click here.
5. Frozen Wonderland
It's a Frozen wonderland at the Children's Museum of Fond du Lac, this Friday, January 10th! Kids can enjoy special themed activities, meet Princesses Elsa and Anna and come dressed as their favorite character!
