Beyond parades & fireworks; fun on the 4th in Northeast Wisconsin

Still wondering where to spend your Fourth of July celebration? Well here are some ideas!

1. Fourth of July Fireworks Paddle in Menasha

Enjoy a fully guided sunset paddle prior to enjoying the beautiful Menasha fireworks show from a kayak. The paddle is set to run from 7:00-10:30 p.m. on the 4th of July. Attendees will meet at Smith Park.

2. Water Ski Show on the Fox River

The Waterboard Warriors will be performing in downtown Green Bay for Festival Over the Fox on July 4th. The show is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the CityDeck Landing. Their show will include high-speed barefooting, water skiing, jumping, pyramids and acting. For more information about the Waterboard Warriors, head to their website here.

3. Celebrate Independence Day in Elkhart Lake

The annual celebration includes the Fireman's Picnic, fireworks, and live music! Events will take place from Thursday, July 4th - Saturday, July 6th. For more information on all the happenings in Elkhart Lake this weekend, click here.

4. Oshkosh Amphitheater celebrates the 4th of July with music

Featuring Cory Chisel & Company and the Oshkosh Symphony Orchestra, "American Made" will feature songs of Tom Petty and other American music legends.

The music celebration will take place at Leach Amphitheater in Downtown Oshkosh on July 4th, from 4:00-10:00 p.m. A fireworks show can be seen following the concert. For more information, head to the Visit Oshkosh website.

5. Sheboygan's Freedom Fest

Visit Sheboygan for two days of fun with parades, carnival, live music, food and more! Festivities kick off Wednesday afternoon on July 3rd in Deland Park, and end with the fireworks launch from South Pier at 9:30 Thursday night. For more information on the Freedom Fest activities, click here.
