OSHKOSH (WLUK) -- Sitcom star-turned-musical actor Tony Danza is bringing a night of songs and storytelling to The Grand Oshkosh next month.
"Standards & Stories" is set for Sept. 15.
The Grand says, "combining timeless music with wit, charm, storytelling, and a dash of soft shoe and ukulele performances, Danza performs a selection of his favorite standards from the Great American Songbook while interweaving stories about his life and personal connection to the music."
Longtime TV fans will remember Danza's turns on "Taxi" and "Who's the Boss." More recently, Danza has starred on Broadway in "The Producers" and "A View from the Bridge," as well as movies such as "Angels In Outfield," "She’s Out of Control" and "Hollywood Knights." Danza is set to make his return to the small screen in the Netflix series "The Good Cop," set to be released Sept. 21.
Tickets for Danza's Oshkosh show start at $25. They are available at The Grand Oshkosh box office, by phone at (920) 424-2350 and online.
