GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Lambeau Field will turn into "Swingtown" the night before the Green Bay Packers' 2018 season kicks off.
A concert by the Steve Miller Band headlines the team's Celebration Weekend festivities Sept. 8-9. Festivities begin at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Johnsonville Tailgate Village in the stadium's east parking lot. Music is set to start at 7:30 outside the stadium, near the Oneida Nation Gate.
Parking and admission for the concert are free.
The Lambeau Field Atrium, including the Packers Pro Shop, Lambeau Field Stadium Tours, the Packers Hall of Fame and 1919 Kitchen & Tap, will be open for regular hours, the organization says.
On Sunday night, the Packers open their 100th season of football by renewing the NFL's most-played rivalry with the Chicago Bears. The Johnsonville Tailgate Village is set to open at 3:20 p.m., with stadium gates opening at 5:20 p.m. in advance of the 7:20 p.m. kickoff.
