OSHKOSH (WLUK) -- The Harlem Globetrotters will be ringing in the new year at a new arena.
The basketball showmen will be stopping at the Oshkosh Arena on Jan. 1, the team has announced. It's part of the Globetrotters' 2018 World Tour, and comes a few days after the team visits the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon.
The Oshkosh appearance features a game against the Washington Generals, who famously haven't beaten the Globetrotters in 47 years. The exhibition also promises trick shots, amazing ball handling and basketball comedy.
The Globetrotters' roster includes Big Easy Lofton, Ant Atkinson, Hi-Lite Bruton, Thunder Law, Bull Bullard, Cheese Chisholm, TNT Lister, Ace Jackson and Hoops Green.
Tickets for the appearance go on sale Oct. 20. They start at $23.50 and will be available online or by phone at 1-800-895-0071.
The Oshkosh Arena is set to open later this year as the home of the Wisconsin Herd, the Milwaukee Bucks' affiliate in the NBA G League.
