Lynyrd Skynyrd and Marshall Tucker Band coming to Resch

ASHWAUBENON (WLUK) -- Southern rock icons are coming to the Resch Center this fall.

Lynyrd Skynyrd with The Marshall Tucker Band will make a stop in the Green Bay area Friday, Oct. 19 during their "Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour."

Named 'One of the 100 Greatest Bands of All Time' by Rolling Stone magazine, Lynyrd Skynyrd has produced more than 60 albums with more than 30 million sold.

Best known for hits such as "Sweet Home Alabama," "Simple Man," "Call Me the Breeze," and dubbed 'easily the most requested live song in existence,' by Rolling Stone, "Free Bird."

The farewell tour includes original Lynyrd Skynyrd band member, Rossington, joined by Van Zant, Medlocke, Mark “Sparky” Matejka, Michael Cartellone, Keith Christopher, Peter Keys, Dale Krantz Rossington, Carol Chase and special guest Jim Horn.

Joining Lynyrd Skynyrd is fellow southern rock band, Marshall Tucker Band, known for hits such as "Can't You See," "Heard it in a Love Song" and "Fire on the Mountain."

Tickets start at $29.50 and go on sale Friday, June 15 at 11:00 a.m.
