(WLUK) -- It's official: Aaron Rodgers will guest host an episode of "Jeopardy!"

The Green Bay Packers quarterback was on the list of guest hosts show producers released on Wednesday. Rodgers said on a podcast Tuesday that he would be a guest host.

Other guest hosts are Mayim Bialik, star of FOX's "Call Me Kat;" and journalists Katie Couric and Bill Whitaker. For each guest host appearance, "Jeopardy!" plans to make a donation to a charity of the host's choice.

The guest hosts are appearing following the death of longtime host Alex Trebek. The 80-year-old died in November after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Former "Jeopardy!" champion Ken Jennings and executive producer Mike Richards are hosting the show while the guest hosts prepare.

Air dates of the guest hosts' shows were not announced.

You can watch "Jeopardy!" weeknights at 6 p.m. on FOX 11.
