ASHWAUBENON (WLUK) -- One of the most popular alternative rock bands of the past generation is stopping in Northeast Wisconsin on its silver anniversary tour.
Foo Fighters are scheduled to play the Resch Center May 10.
The show includes a preview of frontman Dave Grohl's documentary, "What Drives Us." Promoters say the documentary is a "deep dive into what possesses a particular tribe of human beings to leave behind jobs, families, relationships and any semblance of sanity to climb into a busted ass econoline and take their music to the people -- or at least a dozen or so of them here and there." It includes interviews of tour veterans from bands including Black Flag and Dead Kennedys to Metallica and The Beatles.
The Resch Center show will be an in-the-round concert, with the entire floor general admission. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Ticket Star Box Office in the Resch Center, by phone at 1-800-895-0071 and online.
A presale for Citi credit card holders runs from 11 a.m. Tuesday until 10 p.m. Thursday. Details are available online.
