GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- A legendary comedy troupe from Chicago will be making its way to the Meyer Theatre this winter.
"The Best of the Second City" is scheduled to play the Meyer Feb. 28. The show is a replacement for actor and comedian Billy Gardell, who was originally scheduled to perform on that date.
"The Best of the Second City" features sketches and songs from the group's history made famous by now-superstars Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray and others.
The show is part of the Meyer Theatre's 2019-20 season. Tickets to the full season of four shows are available for $175 per seat. For more information, call (920) 676-8883 or email Cindy.Rasmussen@pmiwi.com.
Because of a new TV deal resulting in a schedule change, promoters say Gardell will not be able to fulfill his Feb. 28 date at the Meyer.
