WASHINGTON (WJLA) — "Backstreet's back, alright" and launching a world tour!
The boy band that rose to fame in the 90s announced Friday that they will release their new album "DNA" on Jan. 25, 2019 and then launch their "biggest arena tour in 18 years."
The tour officially kicks off in Europe on May 11 then hosts its first U.S. concert in Washington D.C. on July 12.
“That’s what I love about this album,” band member Kevin Richardson said in a statement. “We were able to bring all of our influences and styles into one coherent piece of work. These songs are a great representation of who we are as individuals and who we are as a group. It's our DNA. We’re really proud of that.”
