This Sunday on CW 14 Focus host Robert Hornacek was joined by Rev. Alfred McBride, O.Praem.McBride is a Norbertine priest who has spent his career in education. McBride has worked as a teacher, professor and college president. He also led the National Catholic Educational Association.McBride is the author of more than 50 books. His new book is an autobiography called All I Own, I Owe. In the book, McBride shares his life story, including how he was shaped by the family who adopted him when he was a child."They were like grandparents. They were kind of more permissive with me, of course. I was the only one in the house. But they also rented a room out. Oftentimes, there were Irish people who didn't have a place to stay. And they gave them a room just for a small fee. That was kind of a good thing to notice, how they took people off the street," McBride said.CW 14 Focus is a weekly, half-hour interview program that focuses on the issues important to people in northeast Wisconsin. Each week, Robert Hornacek will sit down with a different guest and go beyond the sound bites. The program will highlight the people making a difference in the community and give viewers an opportunity to get in depth perspective. CW 14 Focus airs Sundays at 10 a.m.
