Green Bay gallery offers glimpse at history of automobile

The Automobile Gallery founder and Green Bay businessman William "Red" Lewis, event manager Sarah Beggs and volunteer Al Pahl appear on CW 14 Focus with Robert Hornacek.

(WCWF) -- This week on CW 14 Focus host Robert Hornacek will be joined by three guests to talk about a unique attraction in downtown Green Bay.

Two years ago, Green Bay businessman William "Red" Lewis opened The Automobile Gallery.

On the show, Lewis will be joined the gallery's event manager Sarah Beggs and volunteer Al Pahl.

The gallery began as a way for Lewis to showcase his collection of classic cars. It has become a place for others to show their own cars.

"It's a very cool space," Pahl said. "The building has been renovated. The renovation is about two years old. It's a cool space full of really cool cars starting from 1912 and going all the way up to modern day."

The Automobile Gallery is a non-profit organization that also hosts meetings and private events.

CW 14 Focus is a weekly, half-hour interview program that focuses on the issues important to people in northeast Wisconsin. Each week, Robert Hornacek will sit down with a different guest and go beyond the sound bites. The program will highlight the people making a difference in the community and give viewers an opportunity to get in depth perspective. CW 14 Focus airs Sundays at 10 a.m.
