(WCWF) -- This week on CW 14 Focus host Robert Hornacek will be joined by a former first-round draft pick of the Green Bay Packers.
Former defensive tackle Mike McCoy will appear on the show.
McCoy was selected by the Green Bay Packers with the second overall pick in the 1970 NFL Draft. He played seven seasons in Green Bay before being traded to the Oakland Raiders.
On the show, McCoy will talk about his career, his faith and life after football. He will also talk about his travels around the the country as part of "Mike McCoy Ministries" and how he helps to inspire kids to make positive life choices.
McCoy will share stories about playing in Green Bay during the early 1970's.
"How difficult was it to not be winning in Green Bay, especially coming on the heels of so many great teams?" McCoy was asked during the interview.
"We have the high expectations because we won in '72," McCoy said. "Dan Devine was our coach and that was a difficult time. Dan got rid of a lot of players off that team, for whatever reason. He got rid of a lot of draft choices and had John Hadl come in. So he was trying to get some veterans in, for whatever reason. Of course, when Bart Starr took over, he was behind the eight ball."
