(WCWF) -- This week on CW 14 Focus host Robert Hornacek will be joined by two guests from Father Carr's Place 2B in Oshkosh.

Father Carr's Place 2B is a homeless shelter, soup kitchen, medical clinic and more. It was founded in 1974 by Father Marty Carr.

On the show, executive director Bob Lang and board president Nic bur will talk about the work being done at the shelter.

Lang says Father Carr's relies exclusively on private donors and benefactors for support and receives no money from the government.

"We are there for people at a time of homelessness, a time when they are hungry, a time when they need clothing or medical care. And also, a time just for somebody to be there, to talk to, listen, to have a listening ear," Lang said. "We are coaches, we're mentors and we're there for them in their spirituality and faith journey."

CW 14 Focus is a weekly, half-hour interview program that focuses on the issues important to people in northeast Wisconsin. Each week, Robert Hornacek will sit down with a different guest and go beyond the sound bites. The program will highlight the people making a difference in the community and give viewers an opportunity to get in depth perspective. CW 14 Focus airs Sundays at 10 a.m.
