Emmy Nominations and Snubs for The CW

I was really hoping this would be Gina Rodriguez's year for an Emmy nomination...but sadly she and the cast of Jane The Virgin didn't get any love from the Television Academy. Neither did Rachel Bloom and the outstanding freshman cast of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. But that doesn't mean The CW didn't show up on the list of other nominations.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend may have not been nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series or Rachel Bloom for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series, but the show, and Rachel's creative mind walked away with four nods. The nominations included: Outstanding Choreography, Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics, Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music, and Single Camera Editing for a Comedy Series.

I won't rant on for another year about how Gina Rodriguez and Jane The Virgin was snubbed...so I will focus on Jane The Virgin showing up in one category, and for one that without...the show wouldn't be as great as it is. The amazing narrator, Anthony Mendez, that says everything we're thinking while watching the show was once again nominated for his work on Jane The Virgin.
