As a wise Petty once put it, the waiting is the hardest part … but take it to the heart, new The Flash and Arrow are on the way — from the show’s creative talent, in comic book form.
As TVGuide.com reports here, Arrow 2.5 will tell a story that bridges the finale of season 2, and lead up to the premiere of season 3. Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim will write the series along with Arrow staff writer Keto Shimizu. [Marc Guggenheim will also co-pen DC's Green Arrow comic book series, more on that here.]
Guggenheim reports that the comic will introduce characters who will appear in season 3 — which brings up the question, is this the first time we’ll see Ray Palmer, aka the Atom?
The Flash: Season Zero is being co-written by The Flash showrunner Andrew Kresiberg, with Brooke Eikmeier and Katherine Walczak.
An interesting note for comic book fans is that The Flash: Season Zero will feature characters first introduced in DC’s acclaimed Starman series, written by James Robinson. Mr. Bliss and his circus (first introduced in Starman #7) are back …
