Brian LaViolette Scholarship Foundation

Focus host Robert Hornacek focuses on how one family in Northeast Wisconsin has turned tragedy into hope for hundreds of high school students.

On the show, Robert is joined by two guests from the Brian LaViolette Scholarship Foundation.

Brian LaViolette died by drowning in 1992 when he was just 15 years old.

On the show, Brian’s father Doug and sister Kim reflect on what happened and how the family has used the tragedy to create a scholarship foundation in Brian’s name.
